Our aims and objectives

The centre aims to:

1. Build awareness and promote the cause of learners with special needs.
2. Establish a centre which would cater for the educational and recreational requirement of learners with special needs.
3. Provide the means and opportunities to share concerns and disseminate expertise and knowledge.
4. Identify and disseminate information on current policy and practice, research and training.
5. Advice and work with families and agencies including Federal and Local Government, health and education authorities, mainstream schools, and both voluntary and private organizations.
6. Respond to new directions in the development of services and legislation
